What is My41st Day
There were several events throughout the bible which lasted for forty days. Each of those events was significant in scriptural history.- Moses spent forty days fasting in the presence of God and received the Ten Commandments.
- Jesus fasted for forty days in the desert at the start of His ministry.
- Jesus presented Himself for forty days after His resurrection.
Each of these forty-day periods was used as a period of preparation for a major event which was God’s will for mankind.
My41st Day is a tool designed to help you prepare for the next forty days, to grow closer to Christ, through a deeper understanding of God’s will and grow in the knowledge and practice of the Holy Virtues.
My41st Day is a journal that takes you on a forty-day journey focused on:
- One of God’s Virtues for each forty-day preparation period.
- Guidance from the Saints to give you a role model to live by, an intercessory prayer partner to pray for you and support you.
- Scripture verses and quotes to inspire you.
Each day you will be asked to reflect on what you are grateful for, those things you need God’s assistance with, and five tasks which will help you to keep God as a focal point of your day.

What is Virtue?
For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge.—2 Peter 1:5What does it mean to be virtuous? It means to train your heart and mind to think about the good and the true and the beautiful. It means to train yourself to practice good habits at all times. It means working as hard as you can to develop the habits which will help you to become more and more Christ-like every day.
Becoming virtuous requires you to train heart and mind, each day practicing and living by the virtues Jesus taught. Like with any training the key to success is self-discipline. In other words, through your daily use of the Journal, you become your own; teacher, trainer, and coach.
We invite you to spend the next forty-one days with us learning and growing in holiness through intentional training in the practice of virtues.
How My41st Day Will Help You Grow In Virtue
